The collection “Floating Gardens” is heavily inspired by the story of greek goddess Aphrodite. Aiming to produce sustainable garments using indigo dye and 100% biodegradable fabrics, the collection is very connected to nature, just as Aphrodite herself.
According to the myth, she was not only the goddess of beauty and fertility, but also responsible for nature and all living beings. Her ancient rituals promoted new life and regeneration. Through her transformative power, she was able to change the ordinary into something beautiful and unique. These are the features which the brand “Kykloss” stands for, giving new life to used clothes for more sustainable living. All motives and embroideries have symbolic meaning to Aphrodite. Hand-painted details and indigo-dyed fabric make every garment a unique piece and offer a feeling of luxury and exclusivity.
